MY NAME

In English, my name means a strong fighter, which I have heard that I am. Also the son of "Maud". I didn't know that Maud was a name, so it probably is very uncommon.

At home, my name means that I'm in trouble. At school, my name means someone wants my attention. At volleyball, if I don't respond to my name, I'm going to get hit in the head.

My name was a more common name for a boy until 1984, when a movie called "Splash" had the main character as a girl named Madison, and since then, it has become more and more popular as a feminine name.

My mom picked out my name when she was only sixteen years old, and ever since then she loved the name Madison for her only girl. She isn't the only one who likes my name, I do. I love my name a lot, I always have. A lot of people usually don't love their names, and sometimes people even change their names, but I always thought that my name was a good fit for me.

IF I WORKED AT A SCHOOL...

I've never thought much about what I would want to be if I had to work in a school, but if I had to, I would want to be a math teacher.
I would enjoy being a math teacher the most because I think that math is one of the only subjects that I can learn easily and teach many others in a way that they understand. When my friends don't understand the lesson, I can always help them so they understand it.
The grade that I would teach math in is actually 8th grade. 8th grade is when the math is starting to get hard and important, and I think that it's important that my students can understand this math so they will be ready for the even more advanced math in high school.

THANKSGIVING THANKFULNESS

Currently, I am sitting in my hard chair in Mrs. Joyner's room thinking about what I am grateful for. When I was younger, I would say how i'm thankful for some pink barbie dolls or my playhouse, but thinking about it now that i'm older, I am realizing all of the more important things that I am grateful for.
  1. I am grateful for my mom-who never fails to make me happy, especially when she does little things that make me smile.
  2. I'm grateful for my dog-he always keeps me company, especially when I have no one to talk to, he's always there. :)
  3. I am thankful for I health-I am thankful that I can choose to eat whatever i'd like, and also be able to play any sport i'd like.
  4. I'm grateful for my phone-without my phone, I would be very bored. A lot.
  5. I'm grateful for my siblings-even though they can be very annoying at times, I love them dearly.
  6. I'm grateful for my home, especially my own room-if I had to share it with one of my brothers I don't know what i'd do.
  7. I'm grateful for all of my true friends-the ones that are there for me no matter what, especially my two best friends Jess and Alex.
  8. I'm grateful for my clothes-I'm grateful that I have so much clothes, especially my new pink one.
  9. I'm grateful for my teachers-they always help me when I'm confused, especially in Math and Spanish.
  10. And finally, I'm grateful for my life-I couldn't ask for a better one.

FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD.

HOW TO MAKE SPAGHETTI

Spaghetti is one of my favorite meals, luckily it's easy to make!

  1.  The first step to making spaghetti is, get all of the ingredients and tools to make spaghetti.
  • Spaghetti noodles
  • Tomato sauce
  • A Pot
  • A giant spoon
  • A stove
  • Salt
  • Meatballs
     2. The next step is , fill the pot up with water and put it on the stove, AND DON'T DROP IT!

     3. Thirdly, wait around 10 minutes and then put the noodles in the water, just don't drop them hard, make sure to drop them gently or else the boiling water will burn your hand. Possibly off.

     4. After placing the noodles into the pot, wait around ten minutes, BUT do not go read a book or watch TV, or else your kitchen may light on fire or slowly fill with boiling water. You NEED to stay by the spaghetti and stir it whenever the water starts overflowing.

     5. Finally, you're done! After stirring and waiting drain out the spaghetti, just put it on some plates with spaghetti and cheese, and don't forget the meatballs if you like them! Enjoy!

FAVORITE CHILDHOOD TOY

When I was about 5 years old, my uncle always used to buy me pretty big toys for Christmas most years, so I was pretty excited about what he was going to get me this year. When I saw the box, it was gigantic. After opening it, I had figured out that he had bought me a pink toy jeep, it was one of those cars that you could actually drive, but it went about 7 MPH tops. I've seen them on TV and I always liked them, I didn't ask for the car for Christmas, but it was perfect. I used to use it every day, until the battery died. My dad actually ended up buying a bunch of batteries, just so I could just use it without it dying the whole day. I used it for almost 3 years, until it broke. It was probably the saddest day of my childhood, because it was my favorite toy. I never got another one,  but I was around 7 or 8 at that time, so I grew out of it.

I love this quote a lot because, no one is perfect, and that's okay because if you don't try to be perfect, people will like you better.

WHERE I SEE MYSELF IN 10 YEARS

In 10 years, I can see myself almost getting done with college/just out of college, finding an apartment, a job, and starting my new life. In 10 years I will figure out who I am and who I want to be in this world, which I haven't figured out yet. In 10 years, this is going to be a hard part of my life, trying to get the money for everything that I need, trying to find someone who I love, and trying to get my life together. It will be a lot different because, this will be the beginning of living by myself, facing the real world. In 10 years, will be the start to my real world life.

My Favorite Trip ✈

My favorite trip was when I went to South Carolina. There were many fun things to do there, driving golf carts (even through I got in trouble with a cop), the big candy factories, the beaches (one time there was a shark in the water though so it was closed for a couple of days), and go-cart racing. It's my favorite place to go because, it has the most fun things to do there. My favorite thing to do out of all of the fun things in South Carolina is to go to the big mall with all of the different stores they don't have here in Chicago. They have the coolest stores and there's so many things I want, so I get a little bit every time we go. My family and I go there almost every year, and I enjoy it more and more every time we go.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

I love this quote because, being true to yourself is very important. Changing for others is so dumb, people need to stay themselves no matter what anyone else thinks. Many people are scared of being themselves because they are scared of what others will say, but being true to who you are is more important.

About Me

Hello, my name is Madison. I love to play volleyball, it's my favorite sport, but I also love skiing a lot. Too bad you can only go skiing in the winter; I would ski every day if I could! :) I have three brothers and one dog. My brothers names are Connor, Hayden, and Hudson, and my dogs name is Kobe. I am German, a tiny bit of Polish, and Irish (mostly German though). My favorite food is mostly Italian food, pizza and noodles, and my favorite desert is definitely ice cream. I love ice cream a lot. :) I'm super excited to start blogging, because I've never blogged before. Bye!
